Shopping For Crib Bedding From Home

It was quite a discouraging weekend, in one sense. I’ll try to explain.

As you might know, I have 4 small children. That in itself can be a ton of work – and plenty of fun, when the work is finished. One of the tasks for this weekend involved trying to shop for crib bedding for the youngest – a girl.If you have small children, I’m sure that you can understand how difficult it can be trying to round them up and get them ready for any kind of a trip outside. Some kids love going shopping – and some don’t. My smallest doesn’t.

Of course, the weather was cold and rainy all weekend (still looking for that global warming to come my woy, LOL), and we have some unfinished construction at the house, so there was plenty of mud – strike one.

Then, the my youngest came down with a strong summer cold just one day prior to shopping day. She was drippy, cranky – did I say she was cranky?

Anyway, we were about to leave for the store, and I noticed that her pants were dripping – and you can probably guess what had happened. The cold had given her some kind of loose bowels and she had what we call a “blowout.” A blowout is when a loose BM is pushed up and out the backside – and onto furniture, floors and whatever else she is near!

I just stripped her down, plopped her into the sink and hosed her down!

You can probably guess that we missed the “shopping boat” that morning. In fact, once the little terror was finally settling down for a nap, I got on my computer and found a couple sets of the cutest crib bedding I have ever seen. Ordered it right there and it should be here middle of next week!
